Stoke & N. Staffs Outrigger Club formerly Trentham Outrigger Club was formed in 2005 by Ex-Olympian Canoeist John Court to bring Hawaiian Canoeing to Staffordshire. The club is a mix of able bodied and disabled, men and women who wish to pursue the exciting sport of Hawaiian Outrigger Canoeing both recreationally and competitively.

We train on Rudyard, nr Leek. We have one V6 (6 man) canoe and one V12(12 man), but are currently bidding for funding for more canoes and equipment.

Adaptive Outrigger Canoeing is an excellent sport for people with disabilities or the able bodied and can be pursued at a high competitive level by both! We are expanding the club and intend to push the boundaries for our athletes in recreation, sprint competition and long distance paddling.
